Kitsch kitsch hota hain!

| Found this display of kitsch on the entrance of a wash room at a restaurant in Ahmedabad |
Kitsch, as an Art form doesn't suit my creative sensibilities and aesthetic sense. I stay away from it like plague. So why am I posting a picture of Kitsch today? Because, it was ridiculously attention catching, flamboyant in colours and conveyed cheeky message! Of course, my first impression was naturally screwing my nose, looking at very loud nature of it but it made me laugh and by that I mean literally, laugh out loud. :)
I found this display of Kitsch on the entrance of a washroom at a restaurant in Ahmedabad and HAD to click it.

A new dawn!
I stroll on the beach
Feeling sand beneath my feet,
Bathed in fragrance of salted sea,
The new dawn arrives assuredly
Bringing along
Whispers of faraway dreams
Carried forward!
My meandering feet
Follow never ending mysterious tracks
Unbelievably choreographed by the waves,
What a beautiful illusion!
The salt waves caress my bare skin and heart
While echoes of waves
Crashing on the shore
Keep changing the symphony!
Tender Sun rays glinting off the ripples
Hinting at the new dawn,
A beautiful day!
I am cleansed; body, mind and soul!

Divine calling
I was going through my photo albums and came across this photograph, captured at Baijnath temple, near Palampur, during our holidays at Himachal pradesh some time back. I was awe struck by the layers and colours of the sky, mountains and all the beauty around!
I love visiting ancient places; temples, shrines and even the ruins! There is something about it that tells tales of centuries of time gone by and I love to explore those stories unhurriedly. Baijnath temple is divine combination of architectural beauty, healing vibrations and abundant natural beauty that is an absolute delight for any photographer. Surrounded by snow capped mountains of mighty Himalayas, one feels at peace and rejuvenated in body, mind and soul!

Pinwheel, the whirling abstract painting!
Pinwheels! How can one forget the joy of playing with that
colourful magic in motion? I still am fascinated by them just like a child!
Holding them in your hand and get immersed with its dervish movement with utter
wonderment is a gift not many of us continue to have once we grow up! The joy
of holding a pinwheel in your hand and run frantically watching its constantly
changing colourful patterns, creating amazing abstract is one of the few joys
money can't buy!
Spotted a pinwheel seller at Kala Ghoda, on
my way back home and couldn't help clicking this picture. There is something
about those beautiful colours, geometry and fluid motion created by the wind
that brings smile on one's face even after a really crazy day!
Pinwheels! Colours of childhood!
